‘We’re willing to revert this if it seems a net negative’
Oh really? Can you be MORE willing to do that with your ai stance…?
The more you say the more I notice what you DIDNT say in the damage control posts…
smh what happened to this place 😓
We want to clear something up about VRChat Public Instance Ownership! Added two new sections to that part of the Dev Update.
TL;DR:
The moderation abilities given to the original instance owner DO NOT transfer to other users in an instance when the original instance owner leaves.
We’re going to be closely monitoring how people react to the change when Public Instance Ownership rolls out, and we’re willing to revert this if it seems to be a net negative.
If you have a chance consider supporting brilliant creators like this!
Itch's halloween sale may be over, but I'm keeping all my assets on itch on sale until this Sunday!
So make sure to check in on kaylousberg.itch.io/ if you haven't yet, everything I've made is on sale including the recently released Mixed Bag 2 :D
Itch doing what vrchat SHOULD be doing.
If you are gonna allow ai on the platform, MAKE people disclose it. Let users filter it out (or in) if they want. Punish people who mislabel
Enough excuses. Enough ‘what if people abuse the mislabel’
Itch can do it, so can you

Good. People deserve to know when a game, or anything really, used AI in its creation
Pixross Remastered is releasing on November 6th, it'll replace the current game on Steam & @itchio and of course if you already own it you'll get a free update. Ton of improvements and over 220 puzzles included, with Steam Workshop support! 🧩

‘It’s obvious my comment is at scale’
‘You’re being disingenuous’
🤣 stick to the faux influencing
I forgot everyone has to be good faith toward you while you extend zero charitability to others and make gross generalizations to attempt to propagandize your narrative.

You're being disingenuous. sweet dreams sweet pea, I'm moving on

Anti-ai people responding passionately to the corporate slop gobblers =harassment
Some loser calling for anti-ai people to die ‘but like they’re just responding, their action is a reaction, cut them some slack’
I swear I have a hard time reasoning w you people when ur like this
First, it's super obvious that my comment is at scale. There is no movement attacking people for not using AI
But, do you think this person is just blurting this out because they don't like people who simply don't use AI? Or do you think it's a response to the anti ai movement that wants to ban the technology and harasses anyone who uses ai? Think about this logically.
How is it a braindead take lol. I didn’t say that it’s THE problem or the only problem we should care about or focus on.
Maybe you are unaware of effects that it’s having on others but to just assume it’s not a problem and then use the reasoning ‘we have other issues’ is absurd
Replying to @lloydishly
I have an actual argument for the position.
.
It doesnt matter if you are pro or anti ai. Claiming that "ai in vrc is a problem" is an absolutely braindead take. There are so many other issues with the platform that actually effect people... but ai is the issue? Yeah, nah
You wanna intentionally conflate people leaving negative reviews with bullying for your narrative.
If they added a label and the pro-ai chuds were leaving negative reviews you wouldn’t have this assessment.
Ahh yes the anti-ai people just want to turn vrc ‘into a bully simulator’
What an unserious take.
Look I get it, you need to cope with your ai usage somehow but this ain’t it….
Make actual arguments for your position. If this is all you’ve got that’s pretty telling
VRChat is under attack from anti AI people who would love nothing more than to kill the game for all of us just because they cant turn it into a bully simulator. This is awful behavior.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
VRChat (Oct 28): 95% of 21,595 respondents wanted some AI-usage label, but 3,141 combinations with none over 10%. Only 33% would avoid AI-assisted worlds. Lack of consensus plus risks of inaccurate labels and harassment led to no AI label or filters.
ask.vrchat.com/t/where-were-l…
VRChat claims it COULD have a harassment problem if they implemented what 95% of the polled community voted on… but it already DOES have a harassment problem??
That’s why I don’t buy it. This is more obfuscation meant to disguise the true reason: they were always gonna do this
Some of their greatest hits. Gingas is super pro-ai
@gingasvr blocked me because of this convo 🤣 it was a while ago but it seems that they still believe this
Replying to @gingasvr
What a horrible take, the problem isn't that they can't prevent ai, the problem is they made a poll asking their users what they wanted and when a majority said they want ai labels vrchat went back on it because it wasn't what they were hoping for. VRC is full of broken games now
Oh don’t you see. Gingas doesn’t need empirical data, only their opposition does.
It’s so painfully obvious that they hold themselves and ‘their side’ to a much different standard. Rules for thee but not for me.
Replying to @gingasvr @legitdoodles
Again that's all anecdotal. You're saying "historically" but there's no empirical data. They have ai labels on steam and it works fine. It's easy to tell when people use ai and they get called out anyways, this would add a level of needed transparency
