I'm so excited about our 500,000 taxa milestone on iNaturalist! At a time when global biodiversity monitoring is more important than every, iNaturalist is the only initiative on Earth currently capable of cataloging hundreds of thousands of species within a single year.
We've passed 500,000 Taxa! Thanks for helping us record nearly a quarter (23%) of all described species globally! inaturalist.org/blog/103155
I'm very excited that @inaturalist will have a presence at #COP16 this year! Thank you to @tedschmitt and @Esri_Conserv for helping make it possible!
