Mr. Loco

This past Saturday, September 19th, I went to Music in the Park in San Jose to see E-40 and one of the most important artists in my life, @FINALLEVEL. In the middle of Ice-T’s set, he stopped the show, looked out into the crowd and asked, “Who’s the biggest Ice-T fan here?” Next thing I know, the spotlight is on me and he says, “Yo, Loc, come up on stage!” 😂🔥 A few minutes later, I’m standing on stage with one of my biggest musical influences, getting the honor of being his hype man and doing ad-libs on “O.G. Original Gangster” and “New Jack Hustler.” Ice-T’s music has been part of my life and influenced me as an artist for decades, so it’s hard to put into words what that moment meant to me. From being a kid listening to his music to actually rocking the stage beside him… that’s a memory I’ll carry for the rest of my life. Much love and respect to the OG, Ice-T. 💯🎤🔥

RAP Matrix Chronicles: Vesper Grid “Maybe this can be a start.” The crews find a way forward—then the Vesper Grid finds the empty craft on radar. @ToshiArte @neveils_david_c @Delerat7 @luisvillcruz #RAPMatrixChronicles #VesperGrid #GhostFleet #PathfinderCorps #SciFiComics

I got put on by DJ Pimp of Steady Mobbin Productions, which lead to me connecting with Mike Mosley and DJ KING ASSASSIN back in late 2004. After that, it was on, I did tracks with them, King Assassin got me on tracks with Mopreme Shakur, Big Syke, San Quinn, remixes with Ice-T and more. I got to do a few shows in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Poland and a few more spots! I was down with Steady Mobbin Productions, but didn't sign any contracts until 2010, and that first deal I signed was with Rob Schwartz and Who?Mag Distribution. Around that same time, I linked up with Penn St8 Of Kinsmoke and we formed the group Badd Blood! All these years later, I'm still at it, still pushin, this music shit is my life! 💯

RAP Matrix Chronicles: Vesper Grid Old losses don’t disappear just because the crews are standing on the same deck. Loc-01 and Rook remember what happened—and still choose to make the call. @ToshiArte @neveils_david_c @Delerat7 @luisvillcruz #RAPMatrixChronicles #VesperGrid #GhostFleet #PathfinderCorps #SciFiComics

RIP to a real legend

RAP Matrix Chronicles: Vesper Grid A green seam opens in the distance—and the PCS Horizon MK2 comes through. Rook says what everybody’s thinking: “Now that’s a ship.” @ToshiArte @neveils_david_c @Delerat7 @luisvillcruz #RAPMatrixChronicles #VesperGrid #GhostFleet #PathfinderCorps #SciFiComics

I worked hard to get to where I'm at with this music shit, almost 3 decades in the game now, started selling mixtapes out the trunk, to getting a few million streams across platforms. I've been signed, been independent, invested in my brand, built labels and crews, worked with legends and underground heavyweights alike. I've had beefs, fallouts with 2 faced mfkaz who plotted against me, all that, and I'm still here, still pushing and still going hard! The landscape of the music game has changed and continues to change by the day, and I don't complain about it, I adapt and continue building. At this point though, I really don't care about any numbers, I do music for the same reason I started doing it, cuz I love it, and when I have a vision for something I follow through with it. I appreciate everybody who stayed down through it all, all my fans from my early mixtape days, to my new RAP Matrix era, I love y'all, and to the new ones following me, I love y'all too! Those who don't like what I'm doing can keep it moving or gobble nutz, cuz I ain't stopping, it's all gas, no brakes 'til the mfkn casket drops!

RAP Matrix Chronicles: Vesper Grid One day of supplies. A scrubber that’s running hot. And a crew still finding reasons to laugh between repairs. Out here, that counts as hope. @ToshiArte @neveils_david_c @Delerat7 @luisvillcruz #RAPMatrixChronicles #VesperGrid #GhostFleet #PathfinderCorps #SciFiComics
