So with our withdrawal from @ndslfooty confirmed it’s time to shut this account down, sad to have to follow in the footsteps of many other teams but we did everything we could to continue.
Any Sunday teams still looking for friendlies this preseason? We have a pitch, need to find opponents for 5th, 12th & 26th August. All costs to be split 50/50.
So unfortunately it looks like the club will be withdrawing from @ndslfooty before the start of the season. We have a core bunch of great lads looking for somewhere to go. Any teams close to Norwich open to a potential merger or have space for 8/9 new players? Get in touch if so
So even though we finished 5th of just 9 teams in the @ndslfooty division 1 last season we find the proposed constitution suggesting we should play Prem football next season. Quick and easy way of making a team pull out of the league before the start of the season
Tough game this morning vs a quality @HewettOldBoysFC side but knuckled down and ground out a point in a rare 0-0 Sunday morning game.
Backs to the wall stuff at times as @DEFC91 came back from 4-1 down to level it this morning but great resolve to pick ourselves up and grab the winner at the end.
Tomorrow we welcome @SundayHellesdon to CNS, looking to build on our unbeaten start so far this season in what am sure will be a testing fixture.
Sunday we travel to @FCBrooke for what is always a tough game and opponents we never seem to perform well against #bogeyteam
Remarkable game vs @CEYMS_Sunday today, struggling to get a team together, half team playing out of position, comeback from 2-5 to win 6-5.
Still looking for opponents for 20th August due to a call off, we have a pitch available @ndslfooty
Due to a cancellation, Longdale Rovers of @ndslfooty div 1 are looking for a friendly on 20th August, we have a pitch booked already.
Longdale Rovers FC of @ndslfooty div 1 start pre season training on Wed 5th July at Sloughbottom Park, old and new players welcome.
Longdale Rovers FC, division 1 of @ndslfooty are looking for preseason opponents on 6th, 20th & 27th August, pitch sorted.
Excellent win this morning against a quality @middle_fc side, competitive till the end and played with right spirit, credit to our league.
Half time somehow it remains @longdalefc 0 - 0 @valelongofc despite complete domination from the home team
A very poor last 30 mins almost cost us 2 points today vs @MischiefFC, credit to them for not giving up but should not have been that close
