As someone who’s ACTUALLY hit top rank in both, I think they’re both genuinely hard to get top rank in. Rivals takes an insane amount of game sense at all times at high elo, as well as mechanics if you play DPS. Deadlock takes a LOT of macro and game knowledge but less micro.
Deadlock is way easier then marvel rivals and it’s not close✌️😭
Eternus 5 on Deadlock within a month, but can’t hit eternity on rivals after a year😂😂

hi everyone, i want to clarify some things about what i said on stream yesterday.
1) when he was first caught looking at paywalled, deepfake content of female streamers, it seems people forgot that the specific page shown on his stream was of me.
i didn't say much at the time because i was so uncomfortable, publicly humiliated, and i didn't think it needed explaining because it was so obviously wrong.
2) i appreciate that he spent thousands of dollars helping remove ai/df content (3000$ of which was offered to me specifically), but i've had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars towards that same effort. regardless, no amount of money undoes what happened.
3) i'm not trying to cancel anyone or be the arbiter of who can do what. i'm simply sharing my feelings about something that publicly happened to me, and the ways in which it's affecting me today.
as he's become more involved in events and with people close to me, i've grown particularly uncomfortable. as far as i know, no one has really checked in with the women affected about how it makes them feel. other people forgiving him is their choice, but it doesn't mean i can't share my perspective on it as well.
one thing i've seen happen far too often is the rewriting of history, particularly as it pertains to issues like these, so i prefer to stand my ground so the narrative doesn't get twisted. hope this clarifies things!
Do people not know these players go into games to specifically get “aim switching” clips like this. Not cheats not even hard or impressive except to sheep. They’re just spazzing their aim around until they hit something on a bunch of casuals. Inconsistent aim clip farmers lmao
I got to eternus in two weeks after the new update only solo queue. I don’t even really play the game anymore just came back and grinded to the top rank in the new update. The trick to “carrying” in deadlock is knowing when you are NOT the carry on your team. Lemme explain.
It’s easy to carry when you have 3 supports and 2 frontliners on your team while you’re on Wraith. Steal all the farm, don’t die and play around your team in fights and you can hard carry easily. It’s less easy to know what how to win the game when you have multiple carries on your team for example seven, venator, victor and you on someone like haze all on one team. That’s 4 people who need farm to really start to perform well in fights.
Suddenly, you taking all the farm and trying to be the all star carry actually kills your teammates chances of performing well. Sometimes you have to enable your teamates to win. Sometimes you have to be the one to make space for them to farm even if you’re on a carry yourself. Like playing Haze in this situation with 4 carries I would play to fight early with sleeps instead of stacking damage for late game.
Not every game is about you getting the most souls and being the strongest on your team. Sometimes it’s about being the most effective you can be with a low amount of souls so your carries can shine at their proper power spikes. (Usually 20-25 minutes in high elo)
When you start to recognize team comps at the start and who the carries should be late game and build/play around that instead of you always being the carry yourself, games become MUCH easier.
It’s about efficiency. Viktor, Seven, and Wraith CANNOT fight well early, Haze although isn’t the strongest early can still fight thanks to sleep being very strong with slowing hex for picks. So you should fight and look to pressure the enemy early instead of farming to be the late game power house carry that Haze can be. Don’t let them look for kills on your carries while they farm, if you protect them they will be stronger than even a farmed haze will be in 20 minutes. That increases your chances of winning without having to “hard carry” because it’s just not going to be possible every game. You have to help your team get there sometimes.
