Your rotation out of tech comment was correct. But many individual stocks are doing fine:

Well, that would take some imagination. All three major stock market indices are up significantly year to date. So if you’ve stayed invested you’ve done well! If you’re playing on retiring at 63 (congratulations, you are way early!) good for you, but you should position yourself portfolio appropriately. No reasonable person would recommend anyone 18 months from retirement remain 100% invested in the stock market.
