The students in Allison Rosso’s class at PLC are learning vocational skills. They care for the classroom fish tank and house plants, and sell items from the school snack cart. Here, Mikayla uses an adaptive device attached to a switch, which enables her to water the plants.

To all the teachers, in case no one has told you yet, thank you. Thank you to teachers and educators everywhere.
Thank you for showing up, for gracefully helping our kids through each day, and for all the work we don’t see.
You are true heroes. Thank you for everything you do.

Each class at Premm Learning Center selected a Jewish American to study and created a display in the hallway filled with images and information about that person’s life and accomplishments. Every class then toured the building to view their schoolmates’ work. #TransformingLives

Students who act out may not be trying to get in trouble.
But, they may be trying to communicate a need.
