"To all the coaches and players who worked and played for me, you got my number and I appreciate all you did for me and my family. I'm going to leave you with this, I had my chance to tell my HIStory, thanks to everyone who took part in this chapter. On to the next one..."

Not only was Wilson the first African American coach at three schools, he was the first African American coach in the history of each of the respective districts.
Truly a legacy of greatness after 33 years in coaching and education.
Wishing a happy retirement to @lrw42!
Part 2 of my article….it’s always great to be able to build something special. But to do it in your community and the school you graduated from….
Just reflecting on some things from the past. Here is part 1 of my article Six seasons to a Championship that won article of the year for the Texas High School Coaches Association magazine….These are the things I did to build the Lamar Consolidated High School Football program
Shout out to George Ranch Football and its offensive coaches and players. Great Job..

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade….take that bitterness and make it sweet….#keeponkeepinon
Longhorns putting in work on the track and looks like the weight room too. Multi-sport athletes. The best off-season is a in-season. Football and track go hand in hand

Bitter sweet moment with my seniors. This was their last practice as Longhorns but we had a blast. I will miss these guys but I know that they will be successful in their future goals. #WeAreGR

I’ve known Lydell since our college days and a great person and a helluva football coach. With our new realignment, hoping to see @lrw42 across the field as the new head football coach at GRHS.
