I have compiled in an archive the last wild 5y, as a way to celebrate those I have met and to explore new paths. Thanks to those who have been part and those who will be part ❤️🩹

I’m thinking of publishing exclusively on SocArXiv and EarthArXiv. Let’s be honest, everyone’s fed up with the scientific publishing ecosystem, but few try to build an alternative. It’s like those artists who claim to be anti-establishment, but then release their music on Spotify

Best for falling in love with scientific illustration
It’s nice to reconnect with an old love, LaTex. I missed you. Less fun is going back to doing research-related work when you’re no longer a researcher, and having to convince the reviewers that you’re not just spouting nonsense simply ‘cause you don’t have an affiliation
Years go by, but I still feel the same singular, personal creative urge: to document and share with the world the history of the Kisangani-Ubundu railway

Our country's worship of white people defies belief. Italians who don't produce coffee are training us who produce the world's best. We would never be trained by Colombians, Brazilians, or Ethiopians because despite their coffee production prowess, they have too much melanin.
Kenya has partnered with Italy to oversee the construction of a coffee training centre aimed at revitalizing the country’s coffee sector.

One of my favorite concepts in Islamic architecture: orientation in space (universal order are the corporeal creations of the macro/microcosm which exhibit strong directional character)

#Rwanda should:
- Cease engagement with armed groups in the #DRC which have been responsible for a multitude of violations against human rights defenders;
- Refrain from engaging in transnational repression to target HRDs in third countries; (7/8)

I have published a prototype of a Yoruba cosmoscape, a symbolic interactive map where Òrìṣà, energetic fields, and sacred plants meet. Dedicated to the work of Fatumbi Verger and to all the Yoruba people in Yorubaland and its diaspora

In 2023, I had the privilege of spending a life-changing week learning and sharing with the thousand souls and spirits of Heikel Ben Mlouka. A recent documentary has immortalised his overwhelming artistry

In 2023, I led a workshop called "Mapping the Empty", hinting at how the extractive industry called the places it wanted to exploit “empty” in order to validate their actions in occupied territories. But there would be room to run a workshop on the notion of uselessness.
Sorry if I always laugh at the supposed neutrality in science. Three employees from two private companies with offices on Av. Paulista and Av. Faria Lima publish an article in Springer stating that their carbon offsetting project in Rondonia state is marvellous and flawless
The reason why I chose an archive instead of a promo comes from a recent reflection by @silvio_lorusso (better say steals words by)
The archive design is a replica from @rctngle Women Writing Architecture website. Beautiful works are worth replicating and citing
