Early in the season yes but I’d say the automatics are over for us & that decision will come back to haunt us.

I thought of this the moment Bamford claimed the ball…only difference is Cole Palmer is twice the player Bamford is and knows how to finish and doesn’t go invisible when he’s in front of goal.

Rotations didn’t work & neither did subs late on. A lot of players massively off the pace tonight & really struggled to get into the game.
Pivotal point was obviously the penalty miss by Bamford & you just knew that we would go on to lose.
