Introducing the Intelligence Layer.
Autonomous software can't remember across sessions, prove what it did, hold an identity of its own, or get paid. Every interaction starts from zero trust.
Today we're publishing the architecture that closes that gap, and the name for it: Lumera, the Intelligence Layer. The foundation is already live on mainnet.
Thread 🧵👇
5/ We're strengthening monitoring, recovery procedures, and signing resilience, and sharing findings with validator operators.
Thank you to the validator community for helping diagnose the issue, and to everyone for your patience.
4/ No blocks were reverted, and funds and Cascade data remain safe. Transactions and Cascade uploads were interrupted during the pause. If yours did not confirm, please check its status and resubmit if needed.
3/ Consensus integrity and chain logic were not compromised. The network's safeguards worked as designed: with insufficient voting power, block production paused rather than proceeding without the required agreement.
2/ What happened: an infrastructure disruption affected validator signing availability, temporarily bringing active voting power below the threshold required to produce blocks. Block production resumed once signing availability was restored.
1/ Lumera network update: October 20
Mainnet experienced an approximate 2h 15m delay in block production.
The last block before the pause was 7,458,137 at 14:51 UTC, and the network resumed at block 7,458,138 at 17:06 UTC. Blocks are being produced normally.
8/ Builders tokenizing real-world assets or minting on Talis: head to talis.art.
Projects applying for the storage grant or RWA pilot showcase
7/ This is a two-way partnership.
Talis will run its own Lumera validator and SuperNode, helping secure the network and serve the storage layer its marketplace depends on.
Not a customer relationship. Shared infrastructure.
6/ Qualifying Talis creators, collections, and RWA pilots get Cascade storage covered through the partnership.
5/ What Talis builders can store on Cascade: RWA provenance records, authenticity files, and asset documentation.
Plus NFT media, metadata, and collection assets.
Permanent. Self-healing. Verifiable.
4/ Lumera Cascade fixes this.
Files are chunked, sharded, and distributed across Lumera's SuperNode network.
Every node is continuously audited by random peer quorums. Store correctly and you earn.
Fail and you get slashed.
Permanence backed by economic design, not trust.
3/ Tokenizing an RWA puts ownership on-chain.
But the proof behind it, the documents, authenticity records, and provenance history, usually sits on IPFS or a server.
When that goes offline, the token survives and the proof it depends on disappears.
2/ Talis is the leading marketplace on Injective.
140K+ wallets, 238K+ assets minted, with Factory, Launchpad, and Escrow.
Their next chapter is real-world assets, where provenance and permanence matter more than anywhere else.
1/ A few days ago we announced our partnership with @ProtocolTalis. Here is what it means for real-world assets, creators, and collectors on @injective. 🧵
Real-world assets are only as trustworthy as their provenance.
We're partnering with @ProtocolTalis to make Lumera's Cascade the permanent, verifiable storage layer for tokenized assets, collections, and NFTs on @injective's leading marketplace.
Talis will also run its own Lumera validator and SuperNode. Shared infrastructure, long-term partnership.
