Here is my "official" guess(es) as to what's going to happen... Potential spoilers(!) β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ

I suspect the storybook is unreliable in not only its narration, but the visuals. Specifically, the Eve'a silhouette may not actually resemble her. I'm NOT suggesting Eve was literally replaced by an impostor during the events themselves, only that the storybook we're +
Can I ask, unironically, why was it perfectly acceptable for people to discuss the Lilith/Eve theory as though it were canon, something people STILL do to this day, but suddenly it's a problem when I express that same confidence in Lute being Eve? +
Because there are plenty of theories I personally don't care for, but you're not going to catch me combing through the tags looking for posts to complain about. Even if something happens to appear on my For You page, I'll address it in my own post if I feel strongly enough +
Meanwhile, the Lute/Eve theory has two separate instances of Jessica Vosk, Lute's actual voice actress who is STILL involved with the show, indirectly confirming the exact theory (not a vague suggestion, but the actual Lute/Eve theory). +
You're conflating character introduction with character establishment. Sera's appearance in the opening is a visual introduction, even if her name, identity, & role aren't established until later. Foreshadowing & introduction aren't mutually exclusive narrative devices. +
Replying to @lutesaurus
Yeah, Sera wasn't introduced in the opening, she was foreshadowed or teased. She was properly introduced in S1E6. Plus, her own silhoutte was actually doing stuff and appeared twice, unlike the brief and vague appearance of the entities' silhouettes.
A character can be visually introduced while their *significance* is being teased for a later reveal. Foreshadowing involves hinting at a future narrative development. Just depicting a character before formally identifying them is a visual introduction with +
Okay, so if I'm understanding correctly, the issue, from what I can gather on the timeline, is specifically the name? So if we replaced βGoodβ & βEvilβ with, I don't know, βBettyβ & βBeatrice,β would that have solved anything? Again, whether a word can also function as a +
You know what's funniest about all this? People are fighting tooth & nail to argue that βRooβ doesn't necessarily mean βRoot of Evil,β or that βEvilβ somehow doesn't count as a name. Yet this SAME fandom was up in arms believing βAltruistβ was Alastor's actual last name. π +
