It's good that VGen is finally banning them. I want to add, the clients who are fully aware of the nature of these brokers and still buying from them because they're cheap, are taking advantage of poor people. I'd say it's economic slavery even. I'm dead serious

I'm going to weigh in on this. I found out my former artist was a broker as well and it took a long time to get over that betrayal as well.
However, please understand that just because someone was "nice to you" doesn't mean this evidence wasn't warranted, that these bans were not appropriate. The #jruhub is quite literally trained to manipulate and gaslight their clients into believing their sob stories because at the end of the day, they rely on clients for commissions, however 90% of that commission money does not ever go into the artist pockets.
The person you have been interacting with who has been "so nice to you" is not a real artist. I understand it's a difficult thing to believe and accept, I sincerely do. But they (and 300+ others) were banned on Vgen for being affiliated with JRU.
The affiliation is not wrong. I get being defensive, I get being upset. But please do not automatically assume that you aren't being lied to. They lie to HUNDREDS of clients because they don't care about us, they care about our wallets.

Can we STOP supporting accounts that clearly were banned for a reason? Can we STOP closing our eyes at accounts that delivered genAI assisted or traced works? Can we STOP supporting abusive work environments just because a broker salesman told you sweet sugary words?
altwork is genuinely one of the best artists i’ve ever worked with!! amazing work, they deliver, and the whole experience was smooth start to finish. they brought my character to life in ways i didn’t even imagine. sweet, professional, talented. @_VGen_ PLEASE unsuspend them!!
