How ironic that this episode came out right in the middle of the mlbtwt discourse to remind us that this was never about Adrien getting akumatized or the possibility of another Chat Blanc. It's about the truth being too uncomfortable and cruel to tell. That doesn't justify hiding it, but let's stop pretending any of you would handle this situation perfectly. We know things the characters don't, and we're not emotionally involved in the same way they are. Adrien WILL get hurt. The only choice is whether he hears the truth from people who love him, from Chrysalis, who has PROOF and will use it to destroy him, or discovers everything on his own, in confusion and solitude. btw empathizing with Marinette's situation and acknowledging how difficult and cruel the truth is doesn't mean supporting Adrien being kept in the dark about his own life, they're playing with time way too much and ignoring the fact that Chrysalis is out there with physical evidence that she can use to her advantage the number of ppl who know Adrien is a sentibeing is dizzying at this point and finding out that EVERYONE knew except him is what's truly going to destroy him #MLBS7Spoilers
