I know I likely handicap my social media growth because I post about my husband so much. It’s just the unfortunate reality of being a woman online. In a space where numbers translate to subscriptions, sponsorships and bills paid, I won’t ever fault anyone who chooses to keep their relationship private. I choose to center mine because 1) he’s such a wonderful person that I want to share that him with my community 2) I can’t keep a secret to save my life 3) I don’t want people throwing money at me simply because they think I’m single. So even if that translates to support lost, it’s something I’m ok with but I’ll never fault someone for making a decision that’s best for them 💜
