Halloween rewatch.
Over 100 years old and still trippy as hell.
Häxan (1922) is a Swedish-Danish silent horror film exploring witchcraft, superstition, and the hysteria of witch hunts, suggesting that many accused witches were actually suffering from misunderstood illnesses.
A new addition to my vinyl collection: Moog: The Electric Eclectics of Dick Hyman (1969).
Early synthesizer music, it features jazz pianist Dick Hyman exploring the revolutionary Moog modular synthesizer.
Interesting listen. I'm especially enjoying side B's "The Minotaur".
Halloween watch fun! 🎃⌚
Most dive watches rated to 200 metres display "660 ft" (200m = 656 ft, rounded up).
But Bulova and Caravelle went with "666 ft" on some models, earning them the nickname "Devil Diver." 😈
A fitting watch for Halloween!
I need to catch up if I'm going to get through my annual Halloween movie rewatch.
To be honest, I rarely get through them but I make sure to get a couple in.
Tonight is Sinners also known as my favorite movie from last year.
I make one decision before I go for a walk, and that's what watch to take with me.
On a beautiful day like today, there's no wrong choice, but the Casio looks awesome.

Watch of the day.
Casio AE-1200WH — often nicknamed the Casio Royale. This one in a bronze-tone.

At the Smashing Pumpkins show in Montreal.
No opening act. They played 2 amazing sets.
The first was all stuff from Mellon Collie and Infinite Sadness and the second was classics and "dark treasures for our delight and sorrow".
Always get a kick out of hearing Nova Scotia, and especially Halifax, come up unexpectedly.
Joel McHale asks Conan about his interview with Mick Jagger, and Halifax gets a mention. 😄 #podcast #c... youtube.com/shorts/WnnqFfbE_… via @YouTube
Sold off my vinyl decades ago after the CD revolution, so I haven’t owned a turntable in years
Last week an old pal gave me this Tragically Hip album, so I had to fix that.
Picked up an Audio-Technica Sound Burger, paired it with Bluetooth speakers, and damn it sounds good.
Resident Evil is FANTASTIC!
Great kick off to Halloween horror movie season.
Now, can we get The Odyssey out of #Halifax only IMAX for five minutes so films like this get their due?
