If I hadn’t been shown the roadster I’d have thought @machineviolence did this 😳

I'm still out here. Quitting whistle's close, but not close enough. Thirteen hours on the rig and my fingers barely bend anymore, cold's gotten past the gloves and settled into the bone. I'm wrung out. Not just tired, beat down somewhere deeper than the body goes. But I keep clocking in for my kids. That's the whole reason, start to finish. Some nights, between one weld and the next, I slip off somewhere else. A place where nothing's owed and nothing's short. Where the air's warm and it actually wants you there. Then the hauler horn sounds, and I'm back on this rock with frost on my visor and three more hours on the board.

@NielsRogge Sometimes CNNs are better, your data size matters. You will need more images for ViT to be trained and converge as compared to CNN. Vit does not understand "locality", it has to view an image as a sequence of patches and have to "learn" these spatial relationships from scratch, which requires massive amounts of data. Inference speed and hardware requirements are much lower for CNN. But ultimately this line will be blurred, Vit's are catching up but till then CNNs may have a slight edge for some time

The artist behind this image inspired me and came up with a cool Idea for a backstory for an animated cartoon or anime. Hope you enjoy it! xitter.cf/machineviolence/status… Titled: Delivery Driver Based on this one image, I came up with a sci-fi action drama that takes place 100 years into the future after the 3rd World War. (A cross between Death Race, Mad Max, Cannonball Run, and the Arabian Nights.) A hundred years have passed since the governments of the world announced their intention to cut off communication from each other. Rumors through the years suggest it was not by choice and that a third world war or a huge calamity is why no one talks to each other anymore. Much of the technology no longer works unless you are able to find something from that 100-year-old area and are able to get it working again. Global wealth is no longer the controlling factor of people's lives either. It's all about water, food, electricity, and fuel. Hee, who has that, makes you a target, and everybody wants what you have. They will kill you and your whole family for it. Then they become the hunted for the next ones to take it away from them. Then there are people like me who have found a way to break that endless cycle of life. Some of the old ways survived. Many people still believe in communities working together, but only if it will benefit them. As for me, I'd rather help when and where I can, and once my duty is finished, I go back to my own way and lifestyle that I chose for myself. So I became a delivery driver. Transporting goods, food, water, fuel, supplies, mail, and tools to other communities. Communities that are a hundred miles away from each other and only a few places have the ability to travel to and from them. Plus, the terrain that is between them is not in the best of conditions to travel on either. If you don’t have the tools and supplies to be a delivery driver, the communities will force you into hard labor camps if you can’t provide tribute to the whole community. Some would argue that this is far worse than fighting with other communities unless you join the guilds. Each community has different guilds, and most of them have their own set of rules and loyalties too. I had no idea that the job I was about to accept would completely upend my life and could lead to my death. Rival guilds and communities came after me as soon as I started this delivery, and they were willing to kill me for it. Even those that I would call friends wanted what I was carrying. What was to be a simple milk run turned into a fight for my life. Every delivery driver has a lock box to secure the contents of the delivery items. No delivery driver ever knows what they are carrying so that no one knows but the people you make the orders and contracts with. It is a stricter code that every community and guild follows. But there have been reports that some communities ignore that code to conquer them or to burn them to the ground and take over the land. No other driver is allowed to make deliveries on other drivers' routes. Every year all the communities within 100 miles of each other compete in a rally race to see who gets the next delivery route. Communities place bets on which driver will win first and earn first picks of which community they want to trade with. Each racer carries a special package. (Kinda like the golden ticket) The first driver to make its delivery wins. Most of the time it's a friendly race. Other communities don’t care what happens to the drivers as long as theirs win first, and they have been known to set up stages of taps along the routes to stop opposing other racers.
