WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners. Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads. Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was. Got a root shell. then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems. This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

Chinese servers are monopolizing public HF radio receivers in the US, so this enterprising ham is trolling them with Tiananmen Square audio.

planning is overrated just take the shortest term action that is in the general direction of your goal reality is a super high dimensional space, so this basically always works

nominative determinism
Hate to dox myself a bit but have worked on just about every fighter jet the US has. I have seen some impressive technology over my career but this is a whole other level. I have so many questions and need to know how this works. How much edge compute is needed to make this happen? My first thought is dual processor + 1TB ram. That way it can handle the fuckquintillion process per second. There was zero correction it nailed it 100%.

I just got hit with an extremely sophisticated phishing attempt. Real google alerts, real google phone numbers, almost a real top level url. Nuts.

Once again The Villages is at the forefront of automotive technology
We will make sure that it’s legal — at a minimum could be used to leapfrog golf carts in the Villages.

DC is facing a jobs crisis. Rushing the legalization of autonomous vehicles is irresponsible given the anticipated AI-related job displacement and disruptions that put countless workers at risk.

Pretty disappointing that we went with “smartphone” instead of keeping Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)

Just another day in DC when a prototype 48 meter autonomous combat-capable catamaran is docked at The Wharf.

Who would have thought that it took a 29-year-old Irishman to put the teetotalers of San Francisco in their place I have been training to competitively drink Guinness for decades I was born for this Sorry @elonmusk
.@willob of @ulyssesinc joins @sacca and me for a pint to discuss how subsea robotics is unlocking Earth’s last frontier. We talk about the physical constraints of operating 1,500 meters underwater, why seagrass holds 20% of the ocean’s carbon, how green tape hinders environmental restoration, and why hard tech startups are verticalising hardware manufacturing. (Plus, Will's interesting Guinness history facts.)
