bystedt was one of the last two 2022 first-round picks who still hadn't played an NHL game. he has been waiting literal years for this moment. you people are SO fucking insufferable trying to prove someone else deserved it more.

mack talking about him and will back on a line together: “will smith…you’re pretty comfortable when he’s on your wing?” “he’s a special player, for whatever reason we seem to find each other”

sherwood truly gives it his everything every night no matter what and i truly appreciate him for that…everyone could be playing like shit, but kiefer sherwood never loses the intensity, he always WANTS it he brings so much life to the team

sadly the win will overshadow a bunch of problems we still have but those 3 goals also showed that once they abandon this system warso wants for them and instead play like they played last year, the offense will come way easier😭

I hate what Warsofsky is doing to the roster and i dont think his systems work but i refuse to root against my team even if them losing might be what's best long-term... I refuse to leave my goalies out to dry. I refuse to root for my young Captain to fail.

even last season when we were losing games we did so as a team and you could see how motivated and determined we were as a group, we just seem almost unbothered now and it all stems from a coach who's unable to give them the push and means they need

it genuinely makes me so sad when i remember that all these young players came to san jose early this summer to train together only to be immediately nuked by warsofsky's dogshit systems
