Gold is repricing trust.
Below is the updated debt-to-gold ratio.
For 100+ years it climbed almost in one direction as fiat replaced discipline.
As @LynAldenContact has shown, gold couldn’t keep up with the telegraph — money had to move faster than metal.
As @saifedean explains, WWI accelerated the break from sound money and ushered in the debt-laden fiat century.
The ratio just turned — but not because debt fell.
After the Coldcard hack was confirmed, @Rob1Ham ran the code through an open-weight AI model. It found the exploit for about $1.
AI is dramatically lowering the cost and expertise required to discover security vulnerabilities.
Rob expects a turbulent year or two as attackers and defenders adapt.
Our full conversation covers the $6 billion Binance hack, AI-enabled attacks, and the future of Bitcoin security.

In 1971 the US national debt was $398 billion.
Today it’s $40.6 TRILLION.
It took 37 years to reach $10T.
The next $10T took 9 years.
The one after that took 4.4 years.
We now add a new $10 trillion faster than most people pay off a car.
I see the trend. I'm buying Bitcoin.

"Money talks and bullshit walks" Jason from "All In Podcast" is walking back from his claim BTC would never hit it's all time high again. He has still refused to accept my $1M bet. Upon being offered the friendly challenge, Jason started manufacturing excuses.
Instead of taking the bet he starting scrambling for excuses, first, asking me for 'legitimate' escrow company. I've used escrow companies to intermediate billions in real estate deals and company purchases. there are over 4000 in the US. He knows this.
Then he suggested on his podcast the money should be invested while in escrow, of course, I agreed to that. And he still hasn't taken the bet. Talk is cheap... but in the podcast world I guess it actually is just content.

My full analysis, including the latest data on foreign Treasury holdings, reserve diversification, gold purchases, and US debt costs:
exploringprosperity.com/p/al…
America's closest allies cut their net purchases of US Treasuries by more than 60% in the first eight months of 2026.
How much longer can the US count on the borrowing advantage that comes with issuing the world's reserve currency?
I revisited my conversation with @LynAldenContact and examined five indicators of the dollar's resilience and the pressures building against it.
Really enjoyed joining Tim Kotzman and Tim Enneking for a wide-ranging conversation about where the world is headed.
Thanks to both Tims for having me on!

My essay on Jon Carson, his company, and why he built an AI that won't write a student's college essay:
open.substack.com/pub/robert…
Students are making six-figure college decisions with remarkably little individual guidance.
Meanwhile, AI is making the careers they're preparing for less predictable.
Could AI itself help students navigate those choices?
My latest essay explores that possibility, and an entrepreneur who's trying to make it happen.

I've built a website I always wished existed: a collection of all the books written about Bitcoin.
I've found 110 of them. If I've missed any, let me know in the replies.
