So I voted for welcoming immigrants, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, bringing healthcare to the sick, forgiving debts, caring for our planet, laying down our swords, and loving all our neighbors.

Iβm tired. Iβm angry. And honestly, Iβm heartbroken by what this country has become.
Iβm tired of watching ordinary people struggle to survive while the wealthy accumulate more than they could spend in a thousand lifetimes. Iβm tired of wars fought for the ambitions of powerful men while ordinary people are sent to die. Iβm tired of a system that demands we spend our entire lives working just to afford the privilege of existing.
Everything feels so unnecessarily cruel. We have the resources, the knowledge, and the ability to build a world where people can actually live, not just survive. And yet here we are.
I donβt want to spend my life angry and afraid of the future. I want a better country. A better world. One where human lives matter more than power, profit, and greed.
Why is that so much to ask?
