I cannot stress enough what a El-Sayed victory would signal here. It would mean that discourse is dead in American politics. I mean, what more is there to talk about if you can literally campaign with a guy who said America deserved 9/11 and still get elected to the US Senate? It would mean that moral outrage does nothing to change the outcome of an election. We already saw this in 2025 with Jay Jones’ victory, and it makes sense if you think about it. Why would moral outrage swing an election if we no longer share the same moral alignment?

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Democrats spending money in NH, MN, and MI doesn’t correlate to a world in which they are favorites in Trump +11 or more states and about to rip off a bunch of 20 point R House seats.
