Seriously...so many emotions watching this show! The character development has been great so far. Finishing season 1 tonight!
The values of 'fruits' and 'favoriteFruits' are the same because they reference the same object.
Changing the value of 'favoriteFruits' by pushing an element to the array, also makes changes to the 'fruits' array because they are the SAME object.

Now for a pass by reference example:
What will be the final values for 'fruits' and 'favoriteFruits'?

The values of 'apples' and 'pears' are different because you are working with a COPY of the 'apples' value.
Changing the value of 'apples' later does not change the value of 'pears', since the value of 'pears' is just a copy of the initial value for 'apples'

Here's a pass by value example:
What will be the final values for 'apples' and 'pears'?
