What a response.
Today, @maghullfc progressed to the Second Round of the FA Vase with a superb victory over a very good Colne FC side, despite having six first-team players unavailable. Huge credit to @Joe1Burns1878 and the squad of players.
After a week where sections of the media, including our own local press, have sought to disrespect the people who make this club what it is, today’s result spoke louder than any headline. Some of the reporting belongs in the gutter, and that’s exactly where it should stay.
@maghullfc is a community football club that cares deeply about its town and its people. The players, volunteers, supporters and committee continue to represent this club with pride.
Our supporters were outstanding once again today. Their backing was incredible and helped carry the team through another huge FA Vase tie.
We’re now just six games from Wembley.
Our Club.
Our People.
Our Town.

With the short turnaround for this fixture with the game taking place next Saturday 2nd May, we need to secure coach bookings first thing tomorrow. To do this, we need to finalise numbers by close of play today.
If you are definitely attending, please confirm your place on the coach by emailing by end of play today. This will allow us to determine the appropriate coach sizes.
Payment details will follow shortly, but we are expecting the cost to be £18 per person. Coaches will depart from the on church Hall Lane at 12:00pm.
Good 4-1 win for the lads today. With the game level at half time, the lads came
out the blocks second half with 3 quality goals. Grit and resilience.

2 goals & lead the line brilliantly all game
Well done boys, 2 games to go! 🔵⚪️⚽️
The boys were superb today against South Sefton.
Played some good stuff & lightning quick on the counter attack, just couldn’t get the goals
Big performances all over the pitch, non more-so than seeing Harry Rimmer return from a long layoff through injury
MOM performance 🏆👏🏻
