In other news, I feel like chess is easier than tic tac toe because I can consistently beat my friend at chess but not tic tac toe.
Deadlock is way easier then marvel rivals and it’s not close✌️😭
Eternus 5 on Deadlock within a month, but can’t hit eternity on rivals after a year😂😂
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The attached screenshot claiming Eternus 5 on Deadlock is false, as tracker data shows only 4 matches at 25% win rate on this account.

i appreciate how everyone in strive has an arc where they go "nyehehehe i'm evil now >:)" and they just play ram for 20 hours before getting bored
As someone who has been on both sides of this the answer is often just that you have to play more. Like if my autopilot is filtering someone I can't really give them advice because I'm not being challenged enough to think about what the other person is doing.

solomon being the wise old black grandpa who be beating niggas ass in chess in the park so bad that he dead just has powers is possibly the greatest design concept you could think for a game set in new york
Just found out today that the largest event at 4o4 esports is not Sf6, not Tekken, but fucking Beyblade.

It's kind of funny as someone who used to compete in this game to see how the community keeps on reacting to what essentially is an strive season 3/Tekken season 2 situation lol. They've just been getting arcsys patched to oblivion over there.
I spent hours preparing this analysis because I care deeply about Marvel Rivals and its future.
The current patch, in my opinion, did not solve the root issue. It changed parts of the game, but the deeper problems in competitive flow, sustain, uptime, and fight structure are still there.
My goal is not to complain. My goal is to explain why the game feels different from what it originally was, why top-level ranked feels the way it does right now, and what direction could actually help fix it.
I hope this can reach someone higher up who sees that I am serious about investing my time into this game. I would be willing to help with balance feedback, competitive direction, and explaining how changes affect the highest level of play.
This is still not the final version. I plan to add more tomorrow, but this is the foundation of my response to the current patch.

Like the fact that I can see pro players complain about balance issues and there's like, 15 drones in the replies constantly talking about how the pro player is wrong about balance is crazy. The FGC doesn't nearly have this because the competitive scene is much more prevalant.
Many are confused by this tier list but it all starts making sense once you realize that the Koreans are much more employed than Americans. You think the mfs on the Korean work culture grind are gonna get home and block zato?

GGST NA Locals 8-26-2026 to 9-1-2026
OMG THERES AN ALASKA LOCAL!!! It caught me off that I needed to add alaska to the map cuz I never expected ppl to actually host a strive local over there.
This week was super busy for locals. We had 79 locals vs 59 last week.
