UNION co-director @mainmaing & DP Martin DiCicco film as NYC Amazon workers go on strike during a wintry storm.
Reminiscent of the extreme weather these same workers endured to win their union election 3 years ago.
The commitment is commendable. Solidarity @amazonlabor.

I 💜 my @LATimes pals, some of whom were with me when I was laid off at Sundance & lost email access. (Sorry if you’ve been trying to reach me!) I wrote my best-of-fest picks on my phone because if it’s one of my last contributions after 7 years, I want you to see DÌDI and UNION.
We saw dozens of movies (and weathered much off-screen drama). Now @jenyamato @JustinCChang @IndieFocus and @thefilmgoer share their picks for the movies that made this year's @sundancefest a keeper. latimes.com/entertainment-ar…

ALU co founder @JayyTCOEW who was on medical suspension has now been fired by @amazon this company is notorious for firing workers with disabilities and it needs to stop NOW. Please donate to his gofundme during this rough time 🙏🏾 solidarity gofund.me/f603294a
NEW: Amazon has been specifically targeting union supporters with disabilities and illnesses, firing them en masse.
The company just fired @amazonlabor co-founder Jordan Flowers, who needs dialysis and will require a kidney transplant.
Now he’s lost his health insurance.
