Context: I’m taking a Chicano history course now and it’s been shocking and kind of shameful to realize what a total information void I’ve learned about the American colonization of Mexico, even as I’ve now spent years trying to actively fill in the gaps.
Celebrating my 36th birthday by crying on the couch listening to Landslide. This…seems right.

Okay honestly a big motivator for returning to twitter is that Doctor Who news has me NEEDING MY NERDS I’m on a rewatch now for the first time in a few years (& since I’ve taken a few film classes, which is REALLY interesting) and S1 has me so excited to have RTD helm again.

*tentatively emerges from their twitter nonexistence* Dunno how long this’ll last. If at all. But I miss y’all? Terrifying as this hellhole continues to be, I still miss it. Twitter is my favorite queer dive bar full on with all the endless fights and drama and I love it.

That said, my mental health has definitely seen a lot of improvement away from here. But it’s hard to know how much is just correlation. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi twitter! I miss all y’all! So, checking in at least. I finally started to claw my way back to reality about 2, 3 weeks ago? Pretty leveled off with psych symptoms now but just next level exhausted. Last week was my first week 100% full time in months.

But yeah! Overall though, good things. Just, very gentle and very very slow recovery process.
