Last month we did our monthly #MathTech Review on Math Tricks. A neat app for building complex arithmetic skills and strategies. π
We found a few potential flaws in the educational value but suggested some strategies teachers can employ to extract some really good discussion and exploration from it.

Love a brain workout and @Cshearer41 never fails to deliver π
The weekend just past,
Was an absolute blast!
With Manic Math as the game,
Engaging maths was the aim.
The kids came along with their big kids in tow,
And all from grade 4 to grade 10 had a red hot go.
There was laughter and focus,
Competition and collaboration,
Some productive struggle,
And much hysteric elation.
Such a successful weekend of testing,
We were even surprised to uncover,
The big kids had as much fun,
As their smaller others.
We are excited to announce that Manic Math will be soft-launching January 29 π If you want to know how you can get your school involved, subscribe to our newsletter here and we'll be sending out more details this week: bit.ly/mathmatenewsletter
