Maple class are off to Eye library this morning to renew our library books. #easterreadingsuperstars
Phenomenal debating some of the relevant and topical issues which are raised in Armin Greder’s incredibly powerful graphic novel- an extraordinary parable about refugees. The discussion provoked showed how you make connections re what you read and what’s happening in the world 👏
Going to have some excited pupils tomorrow. The author we had a class tutorial with on WBD (Amy Kim Kibuishi)’s manga book has arrived: the Rema Chronicles - The Realm of The Blue Mist!
After the incredible amount of time and effort that Maple class put into these dioramas for WBD, how could I not have a permanent shelf put up in the classroom to display them all! #happyproudteacher

Wow! Thank you, thank you, thank you to our whole school community for your incredible generosity to Ukraine 🙏🏼 all of these donations will be making their way over to Diss this afternoon and then tomorrow they will leave our country and be delivered to those in need.

Merry Christmas Carol Maple class. What fun we had generating endless descriptive and persuasive vocabulary for our persuasive letters to Scrooge to encourage him to spend Christmas with Fred. Old Uncle Ebeneeza will never be able to refuse…..
