Intellectual property registered through the system will be hosted on GitHub, and each registered intellectual property will be issued the OpenRockets MAPLE nano (pre-release) License, with automated license updates as OpenRockets continues managing the intellectual property.
Each card will be connected to OpenRockets through a system based on camera codes and a dedicated web interface built specifically for MAPLE.
The main purpose of distributing the card is to establish a physical link between a child anywhere in the world and OpenRockets, allowing OpenRockets to help manage that child’s intellectual property according to how they want it managed.
This card is our first step toward making intellectual property protection more accessible and more actionable, while beginning to build the wider OpenRockets MAPLE franchise around it.
