One of my favorite places to work on @Space_Station is the Life Sciences Glovebox, where we get to be the hands and eyes of scientists on the ground. Here, I’m helping with an experiment called InSPA-Auxilium Bioprinter-Cell Printing, which leverages the microgravity environment of ISS to 3D print cells and manufacture human liver, kidney, and cartilage tissue. Just one of many examples of how we’re using this amazing orbital national laboratory to reshape our understanding of biology, medicine, and engineering, and improve life on Earth!

[🇫🇷 version FR 👇] Today is World Osteoporosis Day. As a woman in my 40s, my bone mass would naturally be expected to start decreasing. Add months in microgravity, where our bones no longer have to support our body weight as they do on Earth, and you might expect that decline to accelerate. The first results are encouraging: after nearly eight months in space, my initial assessments showed no significant change in my bone mass, and even a slight increase in some areas! While there is still much to learn from the data, it’s a powerful reminder of the important role that very targeted exercise, alongside good nutrition, can play in protecting bone health, in space and on Earth! #εpsilon • @esaspaceflight • @ESA_fr • #WorldOsteoporosisDay

Thanks to the arrival of @SpaceX 35 which is captured here approaching the @Space_Station we now are starting a busy season of science. Some of that science arrived in cooled cargo and will return on dragon when it departs directly to the scientist doing that work. We are grateful to be the on-orbit hands of the scientists that are helping to pave the way to the Moon and Mars.

[🇫🇷 version FR 👇] Apparently, there were auroras on our flight home! The French Air and Space Force crew woke everyone up to see them… everyone except me. I missed the show because I really needed the rest – my amazing flight surgeons made sure I got it! 📸 From the ISS: ESA/NASA – S. Adenot 📸 From the flight home: ESA Apparemment, il y a eu des aurores boréales pendant notre vol de retour ! #εpsilon • @esa

Ain’t nothing gonna break my stride (except for maybe gravity!). Here’s a peek into our first @Space_Station post-flight data collection session, immediately after landing in the helicopter after our @SpaceX Dragon splashdown last Thursday. The heel toe walk with eyes open was doable, but definitely off my balance game once they had me repeat with eyes closed (shown here). Exponentially better performance even just the next day, such an interesting recovery process! Stay tuned for the week’s recap of science and rehabilitation.

A look back at the final days of my mission and the journey home! Leaving is never easy, but returning to Earth means carrying home incredible memories, valuable scientific results and profound gratitude for the people who make human spaceflight possible. #εpsilon

Just in time! Some cities seem to enjoy hiding under the clouds ☁️ whenever the Station flies overhead… It took until 6 October, the day before undocking, for me to finally catch Cologne and the European Astronaut Centre (EAC) on camera, with no clouds! I’m currently flying towards that very airport, so to all the @esaspaceflight teams at EAC and the German Aerospace Center (@DLR_SpaceAgency): I can’t wait to see you again! 🫶 📸 @esa / @NASA – S. Adenot Juste à temps! 🫶 #εpsilon • @ESA_fr
