💥#Breaking: Earlier today Lieberman, a Netanyahu rival and former Defense Minister, formally asked the AG to launch a criminal investigation for treason against Netanyahu. "The attempt to drag the State of Israel into war on the eve of elections, together with the willingness to sacrifice IDF soldiers solely due to fear of losing the elections, constitutes treason against the state, its security, and the IDF soldiers."

If only @andyburnham had a pair of balls. But he's busy grandstanding about taking VAT off chopsticks n choccie biccies.
🚨 BREAKING: Ontario Premier Doug Ford just canceled Elon Musk’s Starlink contract and banned all U.S. companies from government contracts in response to Trump’s economic war with Canada. “It’s done, it’s gone,” Ford said. “We won’t award contracts to people who enable and encourage economic attacks on our province and our country.” And just to be clear: “They only have President Trump to blame.” So Trump starts a trade war, and now American businesses are getting locked out of Canada. This isn’t “tough negotiating”—this is our closest ally shutting the door on us while Trump pretends he’s “winning.” MAGA wanted an economic war? Well, they just got one. And it’s American companies and workers who are about to feel the pain. FOLLOW:@johnfkjuniorq
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video is from Doug Ford's March 2025 press conference announcing the Starlink contract cancellation and US procurement ban amid 2025 tariff disputes, not a recent event; reports confirm it as a past decision. pcmag.com/news/ontario-r… cbc.ca/news/canada/to… youtube.com/watch?v=FcRMux… iphoneincanada.ca/2026/10/21/hoe… globalnews.ca/news/12071759/…

Reform barrel scraping. It's not even a fresh idea. We've already had Tory dinosaurs Johnson, Rees-Mogg, Bill Cash wanging on about this. They would take us back to when Gweat Bwitain was all stiff upper lip , Win The War pie & dried egg.
This is pure daft. All young folk have never used imperial measures. Hardly the COL most worrying things we voters have right now. imperial masters imperial measures 🤣🤣🤡 Reform UK plan to 'bring back imperial measurements' thenational.scot/news/266687…

Ambition and Labour folks facebook.com/share/r/1P1qHiy…
This is a big ambition – we know that. But we won’t back down from making sure everyone has the offer of a route off the streets this Christmas. Today’s summit is about bringing every part of society together behind that mission. We’ll keep working together to tackle the root causes of homelessness and end rough sleeping for good. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3n0…

Just like 🇬🇧Reform slipping behind in the polls, 🇩🇪AfD is now also "falling to its lowest level in months"👇 Looks like far right parties with dodgy finances are losing their appeal (with Trump's totally corrupt 🇺🇸 administration also serving as a wake-up call)

Every word of this
🚨 IT'S TIME TO RECLAIM OUR FUTURE. There's a severe disconnect between governments and the people they're supposed to represent, and so much of it comes down to the extraordinary influence that concentrated wealth and industry hold over politics. What's happening in Paris is another example. It shouldn't take mass protests for governments to listen to their citizens. And judging by Macron's response so far, even then, the message doesn't seem to be sinking in. I recently tried to boil the wider problem down into a simple equation: 💰 → 🏛️ → 🔥 > 👥🌍 → 🏛️ → 🌱✨ On one side, concentrated wealth and corporate interests exert enormous influence over governments, shaping political priorities and perpetuating the crises we face. On the other, millions of people are demanding a fairer, healthier, more sustainable world, yet their collective influence struggles to compete. And the really frightening part? This isn't a straight line. It's a downward spiral. Each crisis creates the conditions for the next. Wealth and power become more concentrated, political influence becomes more entrenched, and our ability to confront the next crisis weakens. Meanwhile, the baseline of what we accept, expect and believe is possible keeps falling. But the same principle can work in reverse. If people and planet held greater influence over government, progress could reinforce progress. Real solutions would build confidence, visible results would raise expectations, and each cycle could leave us with stronger, fairer and more sustainable foundations than the last. The challenge, surely, is to flip that > symbol. And that brings me back to Paris. Why should public power only come into play when things have become so intolerable that millions feel compelled to take to the streets? Why must people continually fight to be heard by governments that are supposed to represent them? What if we could build and sustain that collective power permanently? Not simply mobilising against the latest injustice or crisis, but creating the conditions in which public influence consistently outweighs the interests of concentrated wealth. There are already millions of people working towards a better future, but too much of that effort is spent fighting against a tide flowing relentlessly in the opposite direction. We can't keep fighting against a tide that's constantly pulling us backwards. WE NEED TO FLIP THE FUCKING TIDE. And this should be something we're all demanding. Not simply more action on individual crises, but a fundamental change to the conditions that keep creating and perpetuating them. It's a challenge I'm currently working on myself, but it's far bigger than any individual, organisation or movement. Public power shouldn't only matter when things become so intolerable that millions are forced onto the streets. It should be permanent. Not simply the power to protest against the future being imposed upon us, but the collective power to shape the future we actually want. Surely, that's what democracy was supposed to be about in the first place.

Its a lot to take in, but the Kushner allegations are he had access to a slush fund full of money from Saudi/UAE enabling Trump to remake the Middle East, benefiting Trump, Israel, UAE & Saudi. We (UK) have already covered for Israel in many heinous ways & now we're

"every single one of these countries has been devastate by American wars" I thought he said he's stopped multiple wars and got pissed when he didn't get the Nobel Peace Prize for all those wars he's stopped
Trump: "Libya, Yemen, Haiti, Somalia—I call them shithouse countries" Every single one of those countries has been devastated by American wars, sanctions, or interventions. He's not describing their culture -he's describing the aftermath of American foreign policy."
