Footage sent in shows a man on the tracks near Acton Main Line on Tuesday 27 October, with trains held up while he was on the line. Trespass on the railway is one of the most common causes of delays across West London, and every one stops services in both directions.
It’s also seriously dangerous. Trains can’t stop quickly, and the live rail doesn’t always look live.
We haven’t seen anything from British Transport Police or Network Rail yet about the incident, so we’ll update if they confirm details.
