Whoa SEOs, this new update gives Claude full command over Screaming Frog. AI can now build custom extractions, adjust workflows, change crawl configs + way more: So this was a great update from the good folks over at @screamingfrog. They've made some massive improvements to the MCP experience. The biggest shift is that the crawl configs are now available in JSON-formats meaning that AI agents such as Claude will be able to read and edit them. So now Claude has a LOT more power in how it can operate a crawl. Instead of just using the available properties, it now has the ability to read, write and completely customize what Screaming Frog is doing. Now through MCP + conversational commands, you can tell Screaming Frog to do a variety of things: - Create custom JavaScript snippets, XPath - Directly configure a crawl settings (rendering, extraction) - Autonomously adjust and debug workflows - Identify new/better ways to improve an existing crawl - Build custom filters - Define new crawl segments So now through Claude, you can just tell it what you want it to crawl, the exact things you're looking to get out of it and it now has the ability to create the custom experience. This will be extremely powerful, especially if you can weave into existing skills + workflows that you've already created.

Juan (@arquiguru) swapped his Alexa for an ESP32 that talks to Claude. It runs the lights, aircon, dishwasher, timers and shopping list. He's fed it the household manuals too, so you ask it instead of hunting for the PDF. #HomeAutomation #ESP32

Over the weekend I wrote up how a two-line email turned into a £5k+ project. An AI product had people's chats indexed in Google, home addresses and all. I emailed them. No proposal, no pricing. Signed and paid the next evening. searchvalley.co.uk/blog/the-… #technicalseo #seo

Grok Bot initial thoughts after playing around with it: - Overhyped - Stingy usage limits even on some of the higher plans - I do really like the UI, creating a single point of contact/Chief of Staff etc. - Cab see the potential for repetitive, relatively simple tasks

Browser golf: nine holes, new course every Monday, you can't see it until your run starts. One free ranked run at the board. The spot is shot, not bought. insertcoin.golf 🪙⛳ If you beat my score I'd rather not hear about it.

Whoa this is a VERY cool Looker template for SEOs. It creates a content pruning visualization using Screaming Frog + the Google/Ahrefs APIs:

Little tip - If you’re using vector embeddings for redirect mapping, you can add a rule to define the URL patterns used for semantic similarity analysis via ‘Config > Content > Embeddings', such as from a staging to a live website. More here - screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spid…
