the fact that socialists always want to seize the means of production rather than build it pretty much tells you everything about why they should not be allowed anywhere near anything productive.
these are thieves and vandals, not builders.

This is how to get a Communist proletarian revolution going in the West:
1. Create a proletarian class by making people dependent on government welfare and importing unlimited Third-World poor.
2. Bankrupt the welfare state to create the crisis.
3. Mobilize the disenfranchised by funding and organizing the movement.
4. Overthrow the government and existing social order.
5. Bring a Communist “utopia” to earth, where a new ruling class emerges while everyone else is equally poor and unfree.
The new ruling class is the Globalist elites!
🇫🇷 France's protests are turning into something MUCH BIGGER than a weekend of unrest.
Huge crowds are flooding the streets over soaring living costs and concerns about democracy.
In Paris alone, police counted 110,000 demonstrators.
And the movement isn't winding down.
Protest organizers are already building toward a nationwide GENERAL STRIKE on November 5.
What started as street protests is becoming a sustained challenge to the French government.

There is no legal basis the @ThornsFC could possibly point to for our removal (from a publicly owned and taxpayer funded property, no less).
-The Thorns allow all sorts of political signage, even violent signage and chants.
-I stood and cheered for the Thorns the entire time (as the section requires)
-Unlike the other fans, we didn't attack anyone. We were the ones attacked.
-We wore our shirts proudly and cheerfully
-We kept cheering for the team, even under assault

You don't value the Freedom of Speech enough. You think you do, but you don't. France is about to censor the Internet as everything goes down. Get Starlink, get a VPN, pray Elon holds the line with X. Don't let yourself be censored. Don't let your voice be silenced.
Just in: France's Prime Minister asked telecom companies to prepare to block social media platforms. "I wish to have the ability to temporarily suspend access to these services in case of a repeat of urban violence," he wrote. @blast news broke the story.

Hey Fraud King 👑
We’re not waiting for them to vote. You’re not allowed to have any noncitizens on your voter rolls. “Period. Full stop.”
It doesn’t matter if some haven’t voted in a prior election.
Stop playing games. Work with us to quickly verify the names we provided and prevent noncitizens from diluting the votes of American citizens.
If you’re so convinced we’re wrong, prove it. We can clear this up in days and give everyone confidence in the upcoming election.
What are you afraid of?
Damn. I knew Portola and Excelsior would be reasonable people and therefore Yes On G, but I had no idea the depth of support in the Outer Mission.
TONS of folks and merchants around Ocean supporting us. They know the damage done to working people who used Great Highway *multiple* times a day for their work --contractors, plumbers, etc-- and they've decided the compromise (road M-F, park Sat/Sun) makes good sense.
My voice is hoarse from saying 'thanks for your support' too often. I need a lozenge. You, on the other hand, can speak up by supporting the cause at: greathighwayforeveryone.com

BREAKING: The US Department of Justice is reviewing the forceful ejection of fans wearing XX-XY t-shirts at Friday's Portland Thorns game.
"The Justice Department is aware of these reports and will review the matter thoroughly. Where the facts and the law warrant action, the Department will not hesitate to act."
A DOJ spokesperson also told me, "Based on what is known so far, the conduct described appears to raise viewpoint discrimination and First Amendment questions rather than sex discrimination. The Department is reviewing it."

California has a real chance to pass Voter ID with Prop 39. I believe it's the most important ballot proposition in the Golden State.
Voter ID is used in India, Mexico, and dozens of other democracies throughout the world. Vote Yes on Prop 39!

The mayor of Oakland couldn't keep her own lights on.
Sheng Thao is on trial for bribery, and prosecutors just showed the jury her texts.
December 2022: can't afford rent. PG&E bill over $1,000. Water $800. And that same day her boyfriend is chasing a check from the fixer at the center of the whole alleged scheme.
May 2023: the power gets shut off. $6,000 to turn it back on. By November the bill is $3,000 and she is telling him to turn off the lights.
Read that again. The mayor of a major American city had her power cut off while she was allegedly selling her office to the highest bidder.
And meanwhile the rest of us pay some of the highest electricity rates in America and get bombarded with idiotic PG&E commercials patting themselves on the back for keeping the lights on, like we should thank them for charging us a fortune to do the one job they exist to do.
And Gavin Newsom? He inherited the golden goose. The greatest state in America, the best economy in the nation, handed to him on a silver platter. He didn't build any of it. He just makes everything worse and more expensive, and brags about it the whole time.
And he brags about it all from a $9.1 million mansion in Kentfield, his kids in a private school in Ross that costs over $70,000 a year, while the middle class either gets fleeced or leaves California.
Oh, and the guy on trial for bribing the mayor. Here he is in a photograph with his buddy Gavin himself.
Day 6 of the Sheng Thao trial.
Prosecutors played a 2019 recording of then-Councilmember Sheng Thao talking to Andy Duong about a closed-session discussion on California Waste Solutions. She named names. “Noel, fucking Dan, and Loren kept bringing it up,” she said. “It was mainly Dan.” She told him Rebecca Kaplan was concerned and that Loren Taylor would “shut the fuck up” if Larry Reid stepped in. Then she added, “We don’t need people hearing us talk” and “We don’t want to be seen with you guys.”
The same day the jury heard texts from Thao and Andre Jones about money. In December 2022 she told him to “pay the fucking rent” while PG&E was over $1,000 and the water bill was around $800. In January a check from Mario Juarez hit Jones’s account the same day she pressed him on rent. Later, after she was mayor, she texted that the power had been shut off and reconnection would cost $6,000. By November she was telling him to turn off the lights because she “cannot pay” a $3,000 bill.
Barclay also walked through a roughly 100-page Evolutionary Homes group chat that never included Jones, plus emails and an org chart that left him off the government-relations side. A $35,000 check from the company still went to him in November 2023. On a separate recording Andy Duong told Thao, “You need to get your shit together. If you want to continue for another term, you better start acting right.”
The defense started cross-examination by pointing out that Oakland never bought the housing units and never extended the recycling contract. One juror was excused. Trial continues next week.
