Imagine, if you will, Scotland had by a miracle of miracles made tomorrows final.
Then on the front page of a UK newspaper was a headline like this urging the Spanish to kick the Jocks into place.
Scottish nationalist social media would explode with rage. SNP politicians would be demanding action from Number 10. It would be used as (yet another) justification for demanding independence.
The nationalist mindset is: We can be as abusive as we like about England, but they better not slag us.
