ALT Photo of a stone or plaster sculpture, scale unknown, of the head and upper body of a woman dressed in a textured grey garment or wrap that conceals all but her face, lying on her back, eyes closed. On her chest is standing a rather chunky black cat looking at her face, middling short, club-like tail sticking straight up. The finish on the cat sculpture looks rather hard and shiny. Legend hand-written above the image: “Sculpture ‘Karen, get up’ 4th century BC.” (Possibly facetious.)

Arctic Circle people have been protecting their eyes from snow blindness for over 4,000 years with snow goggles (usually carving whalebone, horn, and ivory).

super tough bro. Schizophrenia by nature is hard enough to work thru and i take it u was a solid friend to him. maybe he just grew tired of shouldering that load for himself, and u saw the repercussions of that. its unpredictable with an illness like that.
