Truly humbled and honoured to be selected as a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal. It is very gratifying to be recognized for service to others. Extra special this is the last jubilee medal to hold her name and likeness. #queenelizabethjubilee

Last night Trump said he could have won Vietnam in a week. His plan was “going after Ho Chi Minh City.”
Ho Chi Minh City was Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam. Our ally. The enemy’s capital was Hanoi. We bombed it.
He called the presidents who fought that war stupid, then explained how he’d have won it by attacking our own side.
58,220 Americans died in that war. Trump got five deferments. Now he’s telling the rest of us how easy it would have been.
He’s had more than fifty years to learn which side we were on. He still hasn’t. That alone should disqualify him from sending anybody else’s kids to war.
Instead, he’s weighing more strikes on Iran after Tuesday. His administration has reportedly considered using the “mother of all bombs,” the one he calls “like a tiny nuclear bomb.”
The man who thinks we should have bombed our ally’s capital gets to choose the targets.

I feel bad for Quebec. Whenever there’s a separatist provincial govt making noise about Quebec leaving, the only thing that leaves is economic prosperity. Bank of Montreal had moved its headquarters to Toronto based on that. There are many more. Quebec can’t afford the PQ.

We just listed Roberts Bank Terminal 2 as a project of national interest.
That means major new container capacity, so we can sell more of what Canadians grow, produce, and manufacture to the world.
That’s great news for Canadian businesses and great news for Canadian workers.

The Port of Vancouver is Canada’s largest port and plays a major role in connecting our economy to markets around the world.
That’s why our government announced today in Vancouver that the $5.9-billion Roberts Bank Terminal 2 project has officially been designated as a project of national interest. 🇨🇦
This project will increase the port’s container capacity by approximately 50%, while supporting nearly 17,000 jobs and up to $100 billion in annual trade.
That’s how we strengthen our supply chains, open new markets for Canadian businesses and build a stronger Canada.

This is honestly nuts lol.
He keeps this up and he'd be an All-Pro at seasons end. That's how good he's been.

In October, our Defense Forces of Ukraine inflicted record losses on the enemy and recaptured more territory than the Russian occupiers managed to seize.
In just one month, Russia lost 54,400 troops killed or badly wounded. This is a record for any month of the full-scale war. There was also a record for daily losses – the Russian army lost 2,250 troops on October 21. Importantly, we continue to reclaim what is ours. In October, the Defense Forces liberated 96.2 square kilometers of Ukrainian land, which is 10.4 square kilometers more than the occupiers managed to capture during that time.
We thank all our defenders, all our warriors, every brigade, and every unit for this important result for our country. Russia is suffering losses. We are holding our positions, liberating territory, and making every day of the war as costly as possible for the aggressor. To stop these insane losses, all Russia needs to do is choose a ceasefire and diplomacy.

We’re opening the door to more European investment in Canadian major projects.
At the Canada-EU Summit in Montréal, we signed a new agreement with the European Investment Bank. It allows the Bank to operate in Canada and invest in major projects, from exploration and mining to processing and recycling.
This means more financing opportunities for Canadian companies and more mining projects getting off the ground. Those projects will create good jobs for Canadian workers and grow our exports to Europe.
It builds on 28 critical minerals deals already struck between Canadian and European partners. Together, they give Canada and Europe greater supply chain resilience at a time when it matters most.
