One thing I've learned from using AIs is that the median person is unable to read paragraphs of ordinary prose. Now I understand why so many recently published books consist of snippets of text — what would be called sidebars, if the book weren't composed of them.
Very strange — the vibe in the TSA security line is extremely positive at #IAH . People are talking to each other, saying positive things, supporting one another, and making jokes. Very, very interesting. I love it.

To solve high-dimensional POMDPs, prior methods use online planning with problem-specific heuristics. @mossr_jl's accepted paper for RLC 2024, BetaZero, proposes a belief-state planning algorithm that replaces heuristics with learned approximations.
