What does this remind me of? Oh, yes, what the troika extracted from Greece. Not just "everything from ports and infrastructure to oil and gas, and the larger resource base of the country" but ALSO one million homes (collateral to NPLs that were handed over at 5% of face value to vulture funds) plus 70% of agricultural land.

NYU just suspended, for one year, students who participated in a peaceful sit-in demo and Columbia just fired a tenured a law school professor. In both instances because they spoke on behalf of Palestinian rights. This is getting very ugly.

The Israeli army bombarded and besieged for many hours a shelter school in Nussairat in the middle of Gaza . The army prevented ambulances from reaching the injured leaving them to bleed to death. The video shows horrific images of cats eating the bodies of the killed Palestinian civilians who were left in the streets for many hours.
