The victory of the opposition in Hungary yesterday, like the Polish election in 2023, is a victory for democracy, not just in Europe but around the world. Most of all, it’s a testament to the resilience and determination of the Hungarian people – and a reminder to all of us to keep striving for fairness, equality and the rule of law.

Days like this remind me how Apple has perfected the OTA system. Every compatible iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch in the world will get iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and watchOS 10 at the same time. No waiting weeks for the update to roll out to another region or an another set of devices.

LinkedIn: I'm thrilled to announce that yesterday I became an official @nextjs contributor. I'll always be grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to see what the future holds for the open-source community! 🚀 IRL: replaced Typescript spelling to TypeScript 🥲

as I promised more than 2 years ago, today I just subscribed to @raycastapp Pro yearly plan 🤩
Mate Papp@matepappcom16 Apr 2021
reading that @raycastapp is hiring in Raycast's HackerNews extension 🙃 this single productivity app just replaced 3-4 others, including Spotlight, and added shortcuts to Jira/GSuite/Github. could easily recommend (and would pay whenever they introduce paid features)

this + i always use the function syntax, even for one-liners - easier to extend to add more lines - looks better with <T> generics - consistency and one less thing to think about

I always use function foo() syntax when declaring methods in <script setup>. It better separates them from state variables. In fact, even in normal JS/TS code, I only ever use const arrow functions for one-liners or functions with a single return expression.

imagine having ChatGPT BUT on your homescreen, or as an app, or a shortcut, or even better just a button away, and prompting with voice commands… that’s what Siri supposed to be but at this point it feels miles away
