Congratulations to Holland’s 2027 Teacher of the Year Christina Cronauer! #WeAreVBSchools @vbschools @VBTitleI
It’s been a minute! But I’m back on the X. Today’s lesson came with a lot of love and collabs with strangers (for the dirt), my 5th grade teachers, Literacy Team and Gifted Resource Teacher . Created a Math/VA Studies/ Writing lesson centered around an Archeological dig. #lovewhatyoudo @vbHolland @vbcpsdtal @vbschools @VBGifted @lolekelly

4 th grade probability carnival! What a fabulous way to keep learning and innovating during the last few days! @PES_Mustangs @vbschools @4thisallamafun @Mrs_StephLopez @amwetmore
My students Shark Tank ideas were amazing for this unit on Colonial Virginia. Their creativity, passion for making life easier for all people in those times and the on the spot collaboration and discussions that took place during their showcase was PHENOMENAL to watch.
Love reading some of my favorites with my students. The discussions are always so rich! @BethBianchi @PES_Mustangs
I am excited for my students “Shark Tank” Performance Task on the colony of Virginia. It’s so exciting to see their ideas and ways they would make a positive impact in Colonial times with increasing the economy. @BethBianchi @PES_Mustangs @AmieWetmore @Mrs_StephLopez – at Virginia Beach, VA
Students are working on maps for the New World “Jamestown” based on jobs they would have once they arrived. Where would you fish, place houses, forts, crops and ships to ensure a productive colony? Thanks to our wonderful GRT for a great lesson on Multiple Perspectives! – at Virginia Beach, VA
It’s been awhile, but so excited to showcase my students hard work on their performance task. Students are able to justify relationship generalizations of their artifacts; and how VA’s Indians utilized their environment. @PES_Mustangs @vbschools @BethBianchi

So proud of the @vbschools folks who helped print 742 face shields to be distributed to Sentara! I’m definitely missing a few faces but I wanted to shout out to the folks who made this possible - Thank you Charles Hurd and #vbits and #vblms #vbalwayslearning @vb_atc @TCE_VBCPS

Loved ‘meeting’ with my awesome JBD Seagull Staff today. Missing everyone and SO PROUD of the efforts on behalf of our students!
This pandemic has brought people together in kindness from those who volunteered their medical skills or donations for those without jobs to the communities playing music for their neighborhoods. #KindnessWins #godspeedusscomfort
“When we were asked to help find medical professionals to help support this mission, we received hundreds of volunteer requests from our reserve medical community in less than 24 hours.”
