“COBOL is still deeply load-bearing in banking, especially at the core: account ledgers, overnight batch processing, and card/ATM authorization. The widely cited estimates are that roughly 43% of banking systems and 95% of ATM swipes run on COBOL code, and that around 80% of in-person banking transactions pass through it.”

FORTRESS is strategic deterrence in action, ensuring our defenses are hardened, proactive, and ready.
I created FORTRESS America because we can no longer rely on two oceans to protect us. That outdated assumption no longer reflects the threats we face.
President Trump and Secretary Hegseth understand this and have already paved the way with Golden Dome and a renewed focus on the Western Hemisphere, including Greenland and Panama. All of it reflects a fundamental shift in how we defend America.
War has evolved, the threats have evolved, and our defenses must evolve with them.

Very important.
Cities should pursue similar policies.
BREAKING: Pentagon prepares every major US military base to operate for at least 90 days without outside electricity, fuel, water or supplies, anticipating a major war that could cripple power grids, break global supply chains and threaten critical infrastructure on US soil, per Fox News.
The plans include portable nuclear reactors, large-scale battery storage and microgrids able to disconnect installations from the civilian electrical grid entirely.

Gold won’t be scarce for much longer.
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

Bitcoin is global, and most people still have no idea, whatsoever, what it is.

Buying plastic sucks.
And waiting for material to arrive can mean job or no job for a machine shop.
We are changing this.
We are going to supply the American manufacturing base with polymers and composites, at the speed that reindustrialization requires.

FinCEN just withdrew the rule that would have treated crypto mixers as a primary money laundering threat.
Buried in the notice: “lawful users of digital assets may leverage mixers to enable financial privacy when transacting through public blockchains.”
Federal Register still files it under “Proposed Rule” ...that is the section used for withdrawals of proposed rules.
The practical result is that the 2023 mixer proposal is dead.
