NEW: The first generation of #AUKUS nuclear-powered submarines will be built in the UK, based on the UK’s world-leading submarine design.
Great news for British jobs and great news for global security.
A brilliant sounding idea. I've signed up and ready to hear more. The dearth of history documentaries on the BBC and elsewhere is scandalous. But it has led to huge amounts of home made content on places like YouTube where you can find a history documentary on almost anything.

Because we probably could do it all in flip-flops and t-shirts…on Teams.
But we’ve learned, over centuries, that ceremony tells stories about people and places we prefer not to forget.

£36bn added to the recent £21bn already spent on subsidising energy bills is enough to have built three 3.5 Gigawatt nuclear power stations, enough to meet a third of our energy needs. Maybe Davey should have thought more long term when he was Energy Secretary a decade ago.
