I'm sure this will be said by many tonight, but let's get it started..
Putting a Leafs game on a streaming platform that costs $34.99/mo is an absolute joke.
It's a slap in the face for those who support this team.

To do the math here you first have to fix a basic error: Bradford’s 2026 figure includes the rate budget (garbage, water, parking) but his 2011 figure does not.
Real numbers: $9.4 billion in 2011; $16.6 billion in 2026.
Now account for ~800K population growth and ~40% inflation

Bradford’s ex-boss at city hall
This is demonstrably false.
As Chief Planner, I conducted a rigorous line-by-line review of the department’s budget every year. I was required to. The same practice continues across City divisions: expenditures are scrutinized and justified in detailed, publicly available budget briefing notes.
Why make a claim that the public record so clearly disproves?
This is the problem with Bradford: he just makes things up, even when the facts are readily available.
Does he simply assume no one will bother to check?

Over the weekend, the Bradford campaign challenged the media to do this "scavenger hunt" to uncover supposed places where Olivia Chow frittered away the provincial New Deal money.
Challenge accepted.
From my newsletter this week, here’s what I found.

My @TorontoStar column this week: so far, we’ve heard a lot of talk in this election about transit affordability and transit policing.
But I think what most riders really want to hear about is something else entirely: better transit service.

"My father Michael Massaroli...you do my dad's legacy and the legacy of all these victims no honor by using this tragedy to spread hate. We have seen a medley of people come up today, of all races, all religions, all creeds and this tragedy is just that, it's a tragedy. I've had to grow up and spend the past 25 years seeing people use it to hate on our Muslim brothers and sisters, to hate on people who don't look like them. That's wrong. That does no honor to the victims here...please stop."

NEW: Over the past 4 years, Ontario's homeless population has grown by 23% to nearly 82,000.
That's according to the Financial Accountability Officer, using Ontario's own figures counting the "known population experiencing homelessness."
The number of people without a home is projected to grow by another 15.8 per cent to nearly 89,000 over the next 3 years.
