"I get a lot more done with Claude"
NO, you don't. Unless you are using the 20x subscription.
With the current $100 subscription, you get the following monthly API equivalents:
Opus 5.5 | Claude Max 5x = $5,725
6.1 Sol | ChatGPT Pro = $1,055
Argon | Google AI Ultra = $300
If you compare the cost of completing a task at the max reasoning level, you will find that you get more tasks done with your GPT subscription:
Sol 6.1 | $1,055/ $0.72 ≈ 1,465
Opus 5.5 | $5,725/ $5.98 ≈ 957
Argon | $300 ÷ $1.99 ≈ 151
Even with high reasoning, GPT does beat Claude.
I made the stripe ribbon my own.
Recently, I have really fallen in love with ASCII art. The Claude desktop update got me into it.
If you want to have a go too, I recommend checking out

I think it's a minimalist way to liven up your app.
Happy new week founders 😊
It's still dark in the mornings here in Germany, so it's time to start using my home lighting again.
What are your resolutions for this week?
What happened to Hetzner? 🙁
I loved having a small VPS at an affordable price in the early days.
I self-hosted nearly everything.
Meanwhile, the server availability is poor.
And the prices for new instances have absolutely skyrocketed.
It's horrible
Sometimes Codex uses up all the RAM.
My Mac becomes completely unusable then.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
If only it could be a click.
It feels strange starting over.
Going back to a waiting list when you were already live.
But I want to find the right direction.
I think a waiting list is a good way of finding out what people are interested in.
Also, since I'm still receiving some traffic, it's probably the best option to provide at least some form of call to action.
Do you have any tips for creating a good waitlist?
Maybe I'm using it wrong.
But Jev hasn't brought any advantages to decision-making.
It's just too dumb.
Perhaps that's also the reason for the end of the hype?
I tested it on classifying messages like emails and notifications, and it couldn't do that reliably.
It's just not good enough to be right four out of five times.
Yes, it's stupid.
Changing the landing page again ... probably for the tenth time.
It's not because I don't like the design.
But I want a fresh start with Sonarly, and the current version reminds me of everything that hasn't worked out.
So, where can I find great landing page designs?
We have surpassed 1.5K followers ☺️
Thank you for your amazing support.
I'll do my best to share more helpful content with you in the future.
Seems they cooked.
Meta is leveling up to the frontier world.
I see many Muse Wonder and Muse Wonderful benchmarks.
Has anyone tested them already?
Since I’m looking for cost saving options, the Muse code looks promising 👀
I just wanted to say
Thank you 🙂
For all the:
> kind and motivating words
> tips and suggestions
> reminders that this is all part of the journey
The last two days have been pretty insane. I received lots of comments and DMs.
It will take me a while to work through them all, but I will get back to you.
I took some time off this weekend to plan my next steps. Free up my mind by taking part in a running event.
I don't want to give up
But I'm running out of money.
My monthly spending:
> $50 infrastructure
> $40 3rd party APIs
> $30 data provider
> $200 codex
> $40 subscriptions (Google, X, ...)
> $200 company (Tax advisor, office, ...)
So I'm investing roughly $560 every month in my current project.
I failed... again.
I want to be honest with you.
The current project did not go as expected.
About 8 months ago I started building Sonarly fulltime because we got some early feedback, which was quite convincing.
Since then I was stuck in building, swinging from feature to feature nobody asked for, and invested nearly zero time in distribution.
I made many mistakes, but what triggers me the most is that I made the same mistakes over and over. Hiding behind a chat with AI instead of showing up.
So yes... It is currently doing exactly $0 mrr.
For the time being, I have stopped the possibility of new signups.
That doesn't mean that I want to give up, but I have to rethink which path makes sense to take.
I see this somewhat as a restart and honestly, it is also liberating to tell how things really are.

6.1 Sol cooked 🍳
If you want quick vids, I recommend:
> Codex with
> Hyperframes
> And a brain
I'm not a motion designer, but I think it's quite OK given the investment. It doesn't look too sloppy... I guess 👀
Let's find out
whether it's worth cross-posting on threads to grow an audience there.
Tbh, I have no idea how this platform works, but I follow the same principles as on X.

I'll give this 30 days and will share the progress with you.
