I’m super enthusiastic about AI.
But boy, all the layoffs, devs struggling, cybersecurity being a nightmare … it’s first getting worse before it gets better for sure!
It's so simple. Have it build it natively in Swift (on mac obviously) and use parakeet speech to text.
Worked flawlessly. I have no idea how the code works, I just know that I can now dictate voice into any input field or just straight into the clipboard with my tool
Having close to zero dependencies is becoming more important than ever.
Of course, with AI, it's really easy to build your own (minimal) versions of whatever functionality you need.
What a big shift in the ecosystem!
Super excited! I have the honor of closing off the day with my talk.
Looking forward to @cityjsconf Athens!

We're not done with conferences this year.
Let's CRUSH it!
The best thing since Opus 5.5 came out is getting my peace of mind back. I don't feel the urge to chase every new model anymore. I'm completely satisfied. It finally feels like I'm working with a reliable partner, without anxiously waiting for the next switch.

imagine the pressure anthropic must be feeling to make fable 5.5 more impressive than opus 5.5
Because there is no Opus 5.5 hype. It's truly a model from another world
Why does every new model hype die in a day now?
Grok 4.7 came out and users stopped talking about it almost right away. GPT 6 Sol got slammed on launch day. Muse Wonder came in super benchmaxxed and now nobody mentions it. Gemini 4 Argon had everyone excited, but once users tried it, it started looking benchmaxxed too.
Even Astra only lasted about a week before internal bugs made it feel nerfed.
How the hell is the Opus 5.5 hype still going strong?
The funny thing is that at least Germany won’t let you “get out of the way” without first ripping you off
Yes, I'm finding myself in the same spot. The consistently extremely high level of great results, combined with the fact that it can properly articulate itself leaves me wishing for little more.
It was never easier to go up against the big companies!
New: Accenture has told employees it will only fund $29 per month of Claude use. Meaning that employees who often spend as much as $1,000 a month are now scrambling to find ways to keep access to the tool. A sign of the continuing crack down of AI 404media.co/accenture-tells-…
