.@scrutinizerci can you comment on the ongoing platform instability? When can we expect things to get more stable?

Anyone seen: "The prerendered page crashed." with speculation rules (developer.chrome.com/docs/we…)? There seems to be no information or easy path to debug why it's happening in dev tools. [[Not happy to still be on X.com but this q doesn't feel right for LinkedIn]]

This has happened several times before, and in line with the guidelines you agreed to by being in the directory: github.com/wordpress/wporg-p… Best of luck with your version. We're looking forward to making ours amazing for our users, using the best GPL code available.

Interesting bug in their module by the way. In adminhtml/layout/default.xml it does <referenceContainer name="content">, however in for example tfa_google_auth.xml content is a block, not a container.

It seems that in 2.4.7 (and 2.4.6?) declaring a referenceContainer within the same name as an existing block causes that block to not be rendered (which didn't happen in 2.4.5 at least).

We're looking at some potential optimizations to our CI pipeline(s). Anyone have thoughts on this question? mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb-co…

It's time of patching if you're using #AdobeCommerce or Magento! The last version fixes 2 serious bugs, including a pre-auth RCE with some specific prerequisites. Happy to have reported CVE-2024-20758 while @truffzor reported CVE-2024-20759 :D cc: @AdobeSecurity #adobecommerce #magento #cve #bugbounty

Did @github change something? We always branch off main/master and merge to develop, and it never complained about that for branch protection previously

Fielding this as an agency we have limited visibility into our client's reCAPTCHA usage amount as we don't have access to the production Google console typically. For Adobe Commerce I think I found a way to query usage view New Relic

So a colleague and I went SUPER deep into Magento internals today because we were seeing a bunch of duplicate UPDATE queries on a project and I feel like we uncovered a flaw about as deep as you can get

In short, the mechanism that is supposed to prevent UPDATE queries from running if the data isn't changed is borked and many Magento sites are probably running many unecessary queries for this reason which can cause locking and other types of issues
