27/10 #NJDevils  vs Stars post-game notes: - Bang. Fantastic game - Defence was on point. Thought the breaking up of plays in the NZ and keeping the Stars from having perpetual OZ time were the key factors tn - Luuuuuukkkkkkkkeeeeeeee

- Hellebuyck great debut. Made some nice key saves, can’t do much against the tip-in goal - The activeness with the stick seemed sketchy, but when he’s more comfortable with the system it will be such a big plus IMO. Showed some glimpses of that

- Feels nice to see the top 6 humming - PP was moving nicely but again shows its lack of a shooter - Win tmrw against the Avs and it’s wagon watch imo

24/10 #NJDevils vs Kings post-game notes: - Solid game not many notes - Pesce was fantastic, Grits so solid as always too - Lack of a shooter asides from Jack on PP1 is starting to show more and more - Helle-Allen tandem is going to be so nice

- Getting these wins with guys like Jack, Meier and even Lombardi due for goals is great - Tough schedule ahead but with the way the boys have been playing, I think there’s good reason to be excited - Also Mantha really starting to come into his own, great L3 fit

Forever our day one Dawg. Thank you for everything you did in a Devils sweater, Dawson, and best of luck in Winnipeg.

17/10 #NJDevils    vs Caps post-game notes: - Caps always have our number so whateva - Can’t fully put the game on Allen but the fact is that if the goalie performances were swapped, Devs win that game - Caps are the kinda team you can’t have those defensive lapses against

- Kovacevic Chisholm pairing looked brutal td - 4th line is really the only like that I come away every game content with, Lombardi and Boqvist chem keeps evolving - Bratt off game - Timo please start scoring now that you’ve broken the ice

15/10 #NJDevils   vs Rags post-game notes: - Awesome - Finally starting to see positive regression on the bad shooting % - Game was looking like it was gonna be brutal after that horrible 5 on 3 lol, dominant 2nd period against a team that looked like they had given up

- Luuuuukkkkkeeeeee is flyyyyyiiinnggggg - Lombardi just looking incredible - Solid effort from the whole lineup tonight - Daws with a great game, glad the boys finally scored some in front of him

- Only issue today really was how the powerplay looked. Tried too hard for the perfect shot on the 5 on 3. Seen it perform well enough recently where it’s not a concern tho

Kid could always skate but the confidence he’s shown this season, moving like this game after game, is him putting it all together. Breakout szn time young goat

13/10 #NJDevils  vs Wings post-game notes: - Dominant 1st, good 2nd and poor 3rd - Gotta keep working on scoring efficiency but a bit more puck luck today was nice to see - One of those takeover Bratt and Hughes games

- Grits looks fantastic with 86 and 63. Mantha again looks more comfortable on a slower checking line - Powerplay is clicking, Evangelista is good with them but it’s clearly better with a shooting threat in Timo in my opinion

- 4th line solid as always. Gotta give Lombardi more than 10 minutes a night, that kid is flying - Nice to see today’s effort on back end of b2b

12/10 #NJDevils vs Sens post-game notes: - So infuriating. No finish, Sens manage to capitalize on the defensive blunders by Devs (take notes!!) - Daws looked great imo, score isn’t indicative of his performance. Made great saves, left out to dry on the goals

- Tried to force passes to the bumper too much on the PP - Physicality early was nice to see personally. Bad call on Dillon, Mantha stupid hit - Luke was fine but he needs to be harder on the puck rims in the zone. Trying to pick it up with too much finesse

- Thought Devs looked overall better. Easy to say though when first period was PK and 3rd Sens were just defending. Also doesn’t matter how good they look if they can’t score
