Average credit score in the south is significantly lower than in the north.
1st thought was race & poverty but the strongest determinate is actually health-related. Most of these folks have medical debt, & the south has worse Medicaid than other states.

I have to share an extremely pleasant experience I had retrieving my laptop that I had forgotten at Mumbai Airport security. @CSMIA_Official was easy to reach on the phone and confirmed they had the laptop immediately.
He did all this before I had transferred ₹2500. I received the laptop next day and am using it right now to tweet this thread. Thanks again to @CSMIA_Official and Mr Ganesh for being so proactive in returning the laptop to me.
Also thanks to my BIL @raghupatijha for making the transfer on @Paytm . Can’t wait for @HDFC_Bank to add UPI support for NRO accounts.
